1905: Moses Taylor Pyne acquired Merwick and made it available to the University rent-free to be used as a residential hall for graduate students. Howard Crosby Butler, Class of 1892, was the resident advisor.
1914: House sold to Bishop Paul Matthews.
1954: Paul Matthews' son presented it to the Princeton Hospital.
