1835: Building committee suggests a new college edifice be built exactly opposite "East College" of the same materials and dimensions. (TM, 29 Sept 1835)

1836: Contracts set. Work done under supervision of the committee on West College. (TM, 12 Apr 1836)

1870: Windows covered with grills.

1872: Trustees approve repairs and additon of "high roof" (mansard roof). (TM, 26 June 1872)

1877: Complete "overhaul". (Princetonian 20 Sept 1877)

1882: Porches added. (Princetonian, 26 May 1882)

1926: Under the direction of architect, Aymar Embury II, Class of 1900, two three story wings added on the northwest and southwest corners of the building. One story addition between wings. A cloister linked West to Reunion and the mansard roof removed.

1948: Basement added for University Store.

1964-65: Renovation to make space for offices.
