1944: University Gymnasium burned down and is replaced with Dillon Gym.
March 1948: Elm Drive moved further east from the east extension to eliminate a dangerous corner for driving.
Fall 1948: New pool opened.
December 1948: Pool dedicated.
March 1948: Joseph E. Raycroft Library of athletics, physical education and medicine resources placed in Dillon Gym. This collection brought together by alumni and colleagues to replace Raycroft's original collection destroyed in the 1944 University Gym fire.
April 1949: Two cork turf tennis courts put in Dillon Pit presented by Dean Mathey, Class of 1912.
Fall 1994: New exercise equipment installed and interior remodeling completed.
