Curator's note: Because of space constraints, postcard writer Jean Hendry *80 was not able to state that the undergraduate no-car policy was relaxed several times between 1927 and today. I know this to be true as I had a car on campus (parked in what was called the "student parking lot" and is now lot P20) from sophomore through senior years. At that time, it was easy to get a campus parking pass and my car was frequently found parked in front of Brown or Witherspoon. It also made possible daily trips to the long track at Forrestal for my senior project. Tom Swift '76
