According to Madeleine Thompson, Director, Library & Archives, The Wildlife Conservation Society: "Princeton...was also one of the first Lion House occupants, and he was donated by Henry Fairfield Osborn, Princeton class of 1877, who served as President of the New York Zoological Society (today called the Wildlife Conservation Society, and the parent org of the Bronx Zoo)."
