"In the past few years, the senior jacket designs often featured an artistic flair, favoring tiger illustrations or a mesh of different visual elements. But when I think of Princeton, I think of its tradition; the sentiment we all have towards this tradition is essentially what holds the school together and makes it special. Thus, I wanted to aim for something that would be classic yet bold, until 2018 gets their blazers in 2043. I did draw inspiration from athleisure, however—the first version of the jacket actually featured stripes running down the sleeves, as in a track jacket, but that idea was scrapped because the vendors wouldn't have been able to produce them. The double stripes still stayed on the front and back though!"
